A Better Light

When we designed our solar street lights, we wanted something that would be durable and bright.

After testing different options, our research and design center settled on the Phillips 160-170 Lumen per Watt chips.

This lets us deliver the most amount of lighting with a small amount of power needed. 

We also improved the ventilation of the housing for our lights. We wanted good airflow, while also allowing them to be well-protected from dust.

Additionally, our lights are easy to assemble. Often they are installed by the company or municipality that purchased them from us. No trenching or auxiliary power is required.

From parking lots to highways, we have a light for every need. Our standard lighting configurations include:

• 6400 lumens
• 12800 lumens
• 19200 lumens

One of the features of our Stealth series is the double built-in motion detectors. Offering detection up to 15 meters on each side of the light. This is a great way to conserve power consumption while still offering light when it’s needed.

There are several different ways you can program the motion sensors, depending on your needs. There is the Default Mode – this automatically operates at 50% brightness dusk to dawn. Sensor Mode when motion is detected, the light increases to 100% until no motion is detected, then returns to 30% brightness.

This innovative design feature allows our solar street lights to be used in the low light conditions of northern climates and helps them to perform at optimal levels during cloudy weeks.

A Better Panel

A better All-In-One Light is only as good as the solar panel that it uses.

One of the things we have learned is that high winds are one of the biggest threats to solar panels. Accordingly, our design uses a monocrystalline panel. This panel is specifically designed to withstand flying debris from high winds well and is often used in hurricane areas.

In addition to their added durability, our improved design can also offer up to 50% more power. This enables the panel to capture more electricity for better performance at night.

One of the performance challenges with solar panels is that they don’t perform well in high heat. Our panels have a reduced voltage-temperature coefficient that is designed to reliably produce electricity in both high temperatures and in low-light conditions.

Since the panel is integrated into the light unit, it is less susceptible to high winds and requires no wiring during installation.

A Patented Solar Charge Controller

If you have been researching solar panels, you know that the charge controller is an important part of solar street lights. The built-in charge controller can affect the lifespan of the batteries and also impacts how well the lighting works.

What sets our charge controller apart is that it uses a patented MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) charging technology. Through this design, we are able to increase charging efficiency by up to 30%. Combined with more efficient solar panels, we are convinced that we have one of the best solar charging systems on the market. 

This means that when night falls, you have reliable lighting, night after night.

This added current capacity enables us to manage better, store, and conserve energy which means you get the most out of each solar panel.
