A Better Panel

One of the things we have learned is that high winds are one of the biggest threats to solar panels. Accordingly, our design uses a monocrystalline panel. This panel is specifically designed to withstand flying debris from high winds well and is often used in hurricane areas.

In addition to their added durability, our improved design can also offer up to 50% more power. This enables the panel to capture more electricity for better performance at night.

One of the performance challenges with solar panels is that they don’t perform well in high heat. Our panels have a reduced voltage-temperature coefficient that is designed to reliably produce electricity in both high temperatures and in low-light conditions.

Since the panel is integrated into the light unit, it is less susceptible to high winds and requires no wiring during installation.
