Solar Lighting International is now offering solar street lamps in Egypt.
Our lights are:
- Grid Independent
- Designed For Winds
- Optimized For High Temperatures
- Designed To Have Low Maintenance
Since 2004 we’ve partnered with cities around the globe to install solar lighting for their communities. Our lights are often sought after by communities looking to expand without adding a load to their existing electrical infrastructure.
Since our lights require no trenching, they can be installed anywhere there is plenty of sunlight.
We also commonly work with communities that want to decrease their environmental footprint by replacing their existing street lamps with solar-powered street lamps.
Our lights are designed to the highest standards. This means that they can survive some of the harshest conditions with lower maintenance costs while delivering more light.
From Cairo to Giza, our lights are perfect for lining highways, providing safe neighborhoods, and creating attractive tourist destinations.
Below is a discussion of the benefits of our street lamps. We also provide some brochures on our different products. If you have any questions, please contact us.
A Better Light
The Stealth Solar Street Light series is an all-in-one design that combines the lights, battery, charge controller, and solar panel into one unit. We will discuss the different pieces, here.
These lights use the Phillips 160-170 Lumen per Watt chips. These lights let us deliver excellent light with a very low power draw.
We implement these lights in different lightbar configurations. This allows us to provide lights in these three most commonly requested models:
- 6400 lumens
- 12800 lumens
- 19200 lumens
One of the features of our Stealth series is the double built-in motion detectors. Offering detection up to 15 meters on each side of the light. This is a great way to conserve power consumption while still offering light when it’s needed.
There are several different ways you can program the motion sensors, depending on your needs. There is the Default Mode – this automatically operates at 50% brightness from dusk to dawn. Sensor Mode when motion is detected, the light increases to 100% until no motion is detected, then returns to 30% brightness.
This innovative design feature allows our solar street lights to be used in the low light conditions of northern climates and helps them to perform at optimal levels during cloudy weeks.
Stealth LED Solar Lighting System Installation
A Better Panel
Our solar panel helps to improve the electricity storage of our Stealth light series.
Using a monocrystalline solar panel design, these street lamps can store up to 50% more electricity per unit area.
These solar panels also have the advantage of being highly durable against wind and small debris. The panel itself is mounted to the street lamp housing which helps to provide more protection for it. There is also no wiring required during installation.
A Patented Solar Charge Controller
The charge controller helps to protect the battery from overcharging and controls how the energy is stored
What sets our charge controller apart is that it uses a patented MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) charging technology. This allows our controller to provide up to 30% improved charging efficiency.
By combining the MPPT charger with our solar panels, we’re able to provide a more efficient lamp design.
This provides reliable lighting, night after night.
This added current capacity enables us to manage better, store, and conserve energy which means you get the most out of each solar panel.
